GRADUATE PROGRAM IN CULTURAL STUDIES, MEMORY AND HERITAGE (PROMEP)
PROMEP
The area of concentration of the Professional Master's Degree is linked to Cultural Studies, Memory and Heritage. Studies that have the cultural perspective as a center and the themes associated with them, such as memory and identities, form the basis on which the analysis of heritage in all its facets will be treated in the professional training research of students. Heritage, expressed in its material, immaterial and historical forms, will be considered as a means for voices to be recovered and put to the test through the survey, study of preservation methods and availability of access, in addition to debates about all safeguarding, listing and patrimonialization processes. Through debates on issues involving memory and identity in lines of research related to the themes of cultural and heritage studies, it will be possible to stimulate research and professional training that has a critical-reflexive vision and action on the theme of heritage and its unfolded processes: heritage education, preservation and management issues.
